Just when you thought the incredibly popular Suzuki Jimny couldn't get any better, a new model arrives to take the world by storm. Alongside the existing three-door range, the Suzuki Jimny will soon be available in a five-door variant. Revealed at Auto Expo 2023 in India, the all-new Jimny is expected to arrive on South African shores in no time.
Continuing Suzuki’s pursuit of appealing to a broader audience, the new five-door Jimny maintains the previous model’s power while providing an expanded size. The new five-door variant is 360 mm longer than its three-door brother, while width and height remain unchanged. Furthermore, the wheelbase has been stretched by 340 mm to 2 590 mm. The size of the load compartment has also been increased and a few additional features have been added in the process. One of these is the ability to fold the front seats flat so they connect with the rear seat and create two comfy sleeping spaces.
While a specific launch date hasn’t been announced yet, the plan is to release the new five-door Suzuki Jimny sooner rather than later. To avoid disappointment, place your order today as limited stock will be available.
